This simplistic set design was drawn from the text through the relevance of the blank page. The playwright wrote a play a day for a year, making her familiar with the creative reckoning that is overcoming fear and hesitation. The set was designed to accommodate a variety of locations while carrying the overarching narrative of the author’s struggle.
